PVCC hosts AARP & VITA free tax assistance services

taxesNeed help with your taxes or looking for a fast refund? Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) and AARP Foundation Tax-Aide offer free, individualized tax preparation services for low- to moderate-income taxpayers February-April 2013 at Paradise Valley Community College, 18401 N. 32nd St., Phoenix.

VITA provides tax assistance for low- to moderate-income individuals and families, military personal and their families, people with disabilities and seniors. AARP services are available for low- to middle-income individuals age 60 and older. Free tax preparation is not offered to self-employed individuals or businesses. These tax preparers are trained to IRS standards. Rapid refunds are available for those who e-file and use direct deposit.
