Fight cancer! Join the North Valley Relay for Life at PVCC | Apr 12

Relay_for_Life_LogoCancer has touched all of our lives. It is estimated that one million people are diagnosed with cancer every year just in the United States and more than half of all cancer deaths could be prevented by making healthy lifestyle choices like being tobacco free, maintaining a healthy weight, eating right, staying physically active and participating in the recommended health screenings.

Relay for Life is the largest fund raiser for the American Cancer Society (ACS). Their focus is on Research, Education, Advocacy and Service.

Paradise Valley Community Colleges is hosting a Relay for Life Event on April 12, 2013 on PVCC’s Shoenhair Field, 18401 N. 32n St., in Phoenix.

Students, employees and members of the community are invited to participate in this annual fundraiser in the fight against cancer or to sponsor a team walking in this overnight relay. The event includes Survivors Dinner and a Survivor Lap. If you are a cancer survivor, you can sign up for the Survivor Dinner and Lap only.
